four percent 27 August 2008 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, oh my! Sitting in their boat of a car waiting for m to go around and unlatch the gate so that we could pull into the drive way i start to admire all the plants on display in the handy planted garden area of the vehicle. I notice the morning glories and make a remark about how they open in the day and close in the night. m returns and responds with, "yeah, but you need to see this, it's a Verb Plant." Which is apparently a plant which can be programmed to open and close in response to hearing specific verb words being used. To add to the hilarity the neighbours suddenly burst out of their front door in full costume to give us hugs. One is dressed as some sort of blackberry jam monster and the other is a giant jar of peanut butter. Laughing so loudly that I wake myself up. |
